I toured this museum in 2004. The tour guide was a very young woman who seemed somewhat familiar with the background and homestead. She counted on her fingers how many bedrooms were there. Hmmmm, she was a sweet, young thing. The house was impressive. We wore slip on covers over our shoes to protect the carpeting. That was nice, keep it pleasant for everyone to enjoy. The grounds and yards were beautiful. It was well worth the drive and afternoon to get away. This was a pleasant piece of history, in a beautiful area. If I come back, I will return. :)

I took the house tour and walked the Rivulet Trail. Our guide on the house tour was engaging and knowledgeable. The trail wasn't difficult, but was beautiful.
